Author Open Reading

The Watertown Public Library is celebrating local authors by hosting its second annual Open Reading on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:00 pm. Authors of all ages have a chance to read an original piece of writing to a live audience - what an incredible experience! Refreshments will be served, courtesy of Friends of the Library. 
To participate, authors should email their name and a copy of the piece they wish to perform to jhernandez@watertownpubliclibrary.org y May 10. We will use this to determine the order of the program. Pieces should be no longer than 5 minutes in length.

Badger Talk: Leading the Band

Jewelry Making for Beginners

Attention all fashion forward makers & jewelry makers!

Join us for another installment of Jewelry Making for Beginners!

We will be learning to make jewelry with wire & strung beads.

Although this is designed as an adult program, youth 14 years or older are welcome to accompany an adult. Past Jewelry Making for Beginners students are welcome as well! (However, these students may be moved to the waitlist at staff discretion depending on registration needs to ensure this opportunity is available to new students.)

Supplies & in library use tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring any supplies from home if you have them in your stash. Jewelry making supply donations are also always welcome!
